For home designers / material and finish support

Bring the
finish plan
down to earth.

A flooring selection has to work in the real room, under the real light, with the existing edges and the schedule around it. Zenith works with home designers on installation, preparation, transitions, restoration, and connected finish details.

The useful part of the conversation

Connect the sample to the space.

Designers can bring us a material direction, room list, photos, and the conditions that matter to the concept. We can discuss LVP, laminate, hardwood, carpet, existing-floor restoration, subfloor prep, and the trim details that complete the installation.

Plan the next step

What to keep in view

Make the design intent buildable.

Good field conversations do not replace design decisions. They make the edges, sequence, and existing conditions visible while there is still time to plan.

01

Material in the actual light

Bring samples or product ideas to the room context so color, direction, adjacent surfaces, and daily use can be discussed together.

02

Transitions with intention

Doorways, stairs, baseboards, shoe molding, and changes in material can shape the visual line as much as the floor itself.

03

Existing conditions in the plan

Older hardwood, uneven subfloor, damaged drywall, and trim may change the sequence. Identify those realities before the finish date.

Before the estimate

Start with the design brief and the room

Share the material direction, spaces, photos, client priorities, and project schedule. We can help translate the visible concept into an installation and prep conversation.

  • Rooms, material selections or alternates, and adjacent finishes
  • Client priorities for comfort, traffic, maintenance, and appearance
  • Existing hardwood, subfloor, trim, drywall, or transition conditions
  • The contractor, property contact, and timing for the installation

Questions people ask first

Questions designers ask before installation

If your project is different, call Zenith and describe the space. The first conversation can start with what you do know.

Can designers involve Zenith before the flooring is selected?

Yes. Bring the room, the design direction, and the conditions you know. We can discuss installation, prep, and connected finish details before a final material choice.

Can Zenith work with an existing hardwood floor in a design plan?

We offer hardwood repair, sanding, and finishing work. Share the floor condition and desired result so restoration can be considered alongside replacement.

Can the flooring scope include trim and transitions?

Yes. Baseboard, shoe molding, transitions, and connected carpentry can be discussed with the flooring so the finished-room details are visible early.
